Uniden DCT756-3 Expandable Cordless System with Call Waiting/Caller ID and Extra Handset and Charger Reviews

All 3 of the phones work great for me. I can hear well and they go a good distance from the house before getting staticy.

On/Off buttons don't light up at night when the phone rings, so a bit confusing when sleep deprived. Caller ID and phone book are a tad more complicated, but with time, I will get used to them. Works with my older system. Phones are sturdy and hold up to their promise. Keys are easier to push.

This is just not acceptable and I will be throwing these phones out as soon as I purchase new ones. In addition, the handset on the base unit constantly goes "out of range" which requires unplugging the base from the electrical power, the phone jack, and removing the battery for a 1/2 hour. I bought this phone system based on the reviews I read, however when using these handsets, I'm told that I fade out and I often hear an echo.

These phones are crystal clear and have some really great features, like the ability to be a room monitor. You can't really go wrong.

Since getting cable phone lines, we do not have the same number of phone jacks in our home and these phones really do work well when plugged into the wall. I had a filter on my phone line when I had DSL, so I used that to allow all new sets and receivers to work together, but this negated some of the great features such as knowing when another line is in use. If you have cable phones and you plan to expand, you may want to rethink about it or add another phone jack before purchasing a second set. The only problem I have had is after ordering a second set, I found that the expandable portion for separate purchases does not work correctly. If you are going to buy one set of these phones, I think you will be happy.
