This phone has so many features it makes me feel like James Bond. Highly recommended.
The 26th memory "bumps" the next CALLER ID. (I don't have the same problem as the previous reviewer, we live in a smaller home). You have 100 memory storage for "phonebook" + CALLER ID which means (for example) if you use 75 memory storage spaces for your phonebook you'll have 25 memory spaces available for CALLER ID.
Love this phone. You can page someone in the next room using the INTERCOM feature. We own the base and 4 additional remote handsets.
The room monitor works as advertised handy if you have children or parents to care for. You can use these as WALKIE-TALKIES but the range is limited.
It could not be easier and works perfectly. I was worried since my base was old that the new handset would not work, or would be hard to set up.
At our house we're experts at misplacing cordless phones, so we purchased some of these additional handsets for our Uniden system. All-in-all, a great product. The battery life of this phone set it apart from other brands we have had. The sound is my only minor disappointment - it has a somewhat echo-like effect. These are great phones with a lot of very nice features, and Uniden is our brand of choice. It isn't real bad, which is why we added handsets to our existing system instead of replacing it, but it was disappointing with all the other great qualities of this phone.
I bought five uniden headsets and, less than a year later, three consistently fail (i.e., disconnect, immediately run out of power though they've been charged for hours). I'm really disappointed with these phones and won't buy uniden again.
This is a fantastic add-on device for my exsisting system. Like listening to messages, direct link, and room monitor. Its not the color screen like the others, but its got the features to take advantage of.
