With a compact design and expandable functionality, the Uniden TRU9465-2 offers a range of high performance features. Call Waiting Caller ID includes a 100-station memory (with subscription to local service) that allows names and numbers to be transferred between handsets or moved into the permanent speed dial accessible. DirectLink two-way radio communication is built into each handset, allowing them to function as an in-home intercom system or baby monitor. Redial any of the last three numbers at the touch of a button, activate three-way calls or just enjoy the consistent, clear 5.8 GHz digital signal transmission. This set includes two handsets; the system is expandable to a total of ten. You can transfer incoming calls between each handset, and make use of the convenient hands-free design by using the included belt clip and built-in headset jack (headsets available separately). Easily adjust handset and ringer volume levels to your comfort, and set the handset LCD menu to one of three menu languages (English, French, or Spanish). A page button lets you quickly locate the handset if it's strayed under the couch cushions. The charger is wall mountable or sits sturdily on a countertop, giving you plenty of display options. Uniden TRU9465-2 5.8 GHz Digital Expandable Cordless Phone with Dual Keypad and Extra Handset I'd miss calls because when I picked up the phone, even if it indicated bars on the handset, it would just "die" on the spot. The Uniden TRU9465-2 5.8 system is working out just GREAT. I had the second handset off of the base for 3 days before I noticed it lost (1) bar. My old 2 - Line phone system would not hold a charge. I accidentally dropped the handset and the battery panel flew off but nothing was broken. Put it back together and it is working fine.
This phone has everything and is everything I need. When my last phone went dead a year ago I was devestated. The handsets are perfectly shaped and fit my ear and mouth perfectly. Until this awesome purchase. Uniden is the best and purchase this phone for the highest quality and zero problems. I keep them in the bases when not in use of course. I have had this phone for over a year now and after its initial charge the phones have always worked perfectly.

I love Uniden and their products. I have caller id thru my phone company and it displays perfectly on the base and handset.
I have the main base on my desk and the extra handset by my bed. I had had it for years and every new one I tried had bad sound quality and interferenc.
if I am on the phone and get a call it will also show that number. The 5.8 GHz technology provides excellent sound quality all the time.
The speed dial is so easy to install and use.
I have had it 3 or 4 weeks. I probably will buy another hand set, a third phone, later. I especially like the feature that allows you to copy numbers in the "phone book" from one phone to the next with just a touch of a button. Though this phone is fairly simple. I have had no problems with this phone so far.
we're returning it right now. shouldn't a phone this expensive have a decent range AND an answering machine. i wish i could give it no stars- straight out of the box it was charged for 15 hours as required, and after that, we can't use it. it keeps saying "out of range" and it does NOT have an answering machine.
The sound quality is outstanding, set up is intuitive and easy, the phone feels substantial without being bulky.and it works. When this one bites the dust (and they all do at some point), I'll replace it with another Uniden system. I already wrote a review on that piece of plastic junk, so new use in rehashing it here. I got "adventurous" and ordered the Panasonic as a replacement.what a mistake. This phone replaces the Panasonic system, which I returned to Amazon (and received full credit for.they always come through). I guess I can't give a better recommendation than that, can I.
a month or so back. Really, nothing more needs to be said.this phone is perfectly suited to my home and home office needs. I did learn one lesson though.stick with a winner. Besides, this is a review of the Uniden system, and in a word, it's "perfect.". I originally had a Uniden system with a base and one other station, which went dead after 3-4 years.
