Unreal Championship 2 The Liandri Conflict Reviews
to date in some of the meanist deathmatches around.New to the franchise is the ability to play in both third and first person view as well as the inclusion of melee weapons making the game different from its srictly FPS forefathers. While the single player campaign is just a series of bot matches, the multiplayer aspect is where this game specializes.A plethera of modes are available, from teambased deathmatches to flag capturing and king of the hill. While this game seems to have been designed primarily for online play,if you have friends and some extra controllers you are going to have a good time. However, if you want to play alone there are offline bots to keep you company for as long as you need.If you're looking for some serious fun for you and your friends,Unreal Championship 2 delivers in spades. Shining in beautiful Normal-Mapped detail,Chamionship 2 pits you and your friends against some of the most skilled A.I.
It lacks entertainment value in spades, the story, while actually pretty good, is extremely short and is replaced with the standard tournament style ladders, and the characters are frustratingly bland. However, even if it were called something completely different, and in no way related to Unreal Championship, it would still be a very bad game. To come after the single greatest online shooter in history, it is an insult, an atrocious abomination worthy of scorn beyond measure. All in all, this may be in the top 10 worst Xbox games ever made. The addition of Raiden from Mortal Kombat is a humorous marketing ploy which, while probably making them millions, is gimicky at best. The maps are so bad as to be humorous. The other half are bland and repetitive, every inch looking like every other inch.
The fact that it appends one of the best Xbox games ever made compounds this fact, not that it needs compounding to be blatantly obvious, leaving the player feeling insulted and ripped off. Half of them are an exercise in jumping, either off of buildings or into lifts to get on to the buildings in order to jump off them again when you find someone who is below you. Online play is no better. This game is utterly bad, and not just because of the comparison to its prequel. Gameplay is hampered by difficult controls and the fact that half the weapons can be easily reflected back by anyone with reflexes and the melee weapon every character starts with. Malcolm, the one really interesting character, can only be unlocked by going through an absolutely excruciating series of challenges, which manage to be both horribly difficult and horribly boring at the same time, which is a triumph in and of itself.
overall, i found this game to be a lot of fun, especially on multiplayer modes, i had alot more fun playing with friends than i did by myself, i also found some of the single player modes to be a little confusing at times, but otherwise it was a very solid game overall, and i would give it a 9 out of 10 if it had that kind of scale. i would definitely recommend it if you like to play multiplayer fighting games
The stupid thing is a demo and they do not send you the real game.
Great if you can system link with buddies, and even better on Xbox Live. Awesome multiplayer and good single player game. Free content downloads as well.
