Urbz: Sims in the City Reviews
It was a lot harder to understand, but it was okay for those that have the time to read cheat codes to find out how to operate the SIMS. This game was not as fun as the newer version. I rate this a C-
Another difference is that you have to build up your reputation. The differences you'll find in this game are in the jobs you work and clothes you buy, which are district specific, and the other Sims you meet and interact with. The first two titles in the series by EA Games are The Sims and The Sims Bustin' Out, but make way for number three, The Urbz: Sims in the city. By completing your goals and building your rep, you unlock other districts to visit and work in.
The main goal is to build yourself up to have the highest rep in the city, so that everyone wants to be your friend. At the start of the game, you must choose what district to start out in.
In The Urbz, you guide your Sim through life in nine very diverse culturally different districts, where you have to walk the walk and talk the talk. On a scale on 1-10, I give this game an 8.5.
This is achieved by meeting and befriending as many different Sims as you can and learning their specific social interactions. Sim-fans should not miss out on The Urbz.
Plus, after you beat it the first time, you can always go back and play as someone different, giving this game replay potential. This game is fun and simplistic without being too easy.
Reviewed for Big Boss Games by: CRR. As in its two predecesors, in The Urbz, you have goals to achieve, bills to pay and promotions to obtain.
From punk to prep to gangsta, you've got it all in this totally wicked-awsome game. I fell in-love wih it. Plus, you go around town and different districs to buid up your REP. It has such diversity and selection in cultures.
And your sim is much more customised. Being a fan of the sims and the sims 2, I borrowed Urbz from a friend. I LOVE this game. Yeah, I love this game, and totally recommend it to anyone. You work jobs to earn money for peircings, tatoos, hairstlyes, clothing and more.
(the punk station roxx). If you'd like more controllabilty for your sims, then this is the game for you. I especially love the music.
This game was not fun, and overpriced (I paid $17.99 for a used copy). I'm straight outta the hood, and thought this game was vulgar at best, and not representaive of 29th and Crenshaw, where I stay. Don't buy this one. I wish I could get my money back.
My children found this game quite a disappointment. They recommend the "Sims Unleashed Expansion Pack" and Sims versions one and two. They claim it was "kinda boring, and not entertaining" in comparison to the other Sims games which they love.
