If you can not read and follow basic instructions, do not order this product. I have my equipment in a remote closet and the TV in the living room. This is one drawback of this product, you have to read the instructions. I looked at several other brands before buying and it is the best product out there, for the money. Took awhile to set up the remote, but if you read the book you should have no problems. The remote and remote blaster works great.
The unit does exactly what is advertised to do and it does it extremely well. Easy to set up and receives radio remote control signal from anywhere in the house.
I was a little nervous about the purchase because the RF Harmony 890 remote was so much more expensive and was wondering why this remote was so reasonable (under $80 for the pack). The JVC Audio Receiver and Panasonic Projector I programmed in Learn Mode which was very easy as well. As far as the pre-programmed codes are concerned I really only used 2 of them (Comcast Motorola HD/DVR and LG DVD player). I had all of my components (Projector, HD/DVR, Audio Receiever, DVD) programmed and working through RF (radio frequency) in 2 hours (components are in a closet).
I never used the DVD supplied with the package because the manual was very descriptive and easy to read. Needless to say I am very happy with my decision. Macros were straight forward and easy enough to understand.
The macro functionality is pretty basic so if I had to guess, that's where the serious home theatre owner would want to go with a more expensive unit like the Harmony 890. But like I mentioned before, most of us would never need it. I just received my new RFS200 PowerPak Bundle yesterday and I am very pleased with the product. I'm sure the Harmony remotes have their advantages, but for the average everyday home theatre owner, this remote will be all you will ever need.

Paid for itself the first day I programed it. User guide nt the best for helping getting it programed and running without some playing around with. I am very happy with the purchase. But love it.
This remote is worth every penny.
It works as good, if not better that $400+ remotes (which I have owned) and is definitely worth getting over the cheaper RF/IR remotes listed (which I also have owned).
I control everything from my LCD to my Blu Ray, to my Apple Computer and even my ceiling fan.
I feel like an idiot for paying ridiculous amounts of money for other fancy remotes that don't work half as well.

Couldn't be easier to use, and the learning feature is fantastic.
I have my entertainment center tucked away in a closet on the other side of my apartment (at least 2-3 walls), and this remote works perfectly every time.
BUY IT.
