An amazing little product about the size of a mini hilighter. The 15-in-one reader on my desktop computer didn't know how to deal with an 8GB micro SDHC even when plugged into the micro-to-SD adapter.
The thing supports a bunch of different cards, I can only comment on SD cards. I now have an 8GB flash drive that looks like any old USB device and can be used anywhere.
One end opens up to plug into a USB port, the opens to plug in a memory card. I purchased 3 of these, partially because an earlier reviewer had one DOA.
I plugged the 8GB micro SDHC into the micro to SD adapter and plugged that assembly into the CTCStore 6-in-1 and then the 6-in-1 into a USB port.
If you have High Capacity SD cards that you can't read and/or write this just may be the ticket for you.
I think I will go for a sandisk reader next time. Luckily it did not take my new SDHC card out with it.I think. This worked on my pc for about 10 minutes then got REALLY HOT and committed suicide.
In reality you need separate micro and mini to standard SD adapters if you have the smaller cards because it only has a standard SD size slot. I had trouble reading an 8GB card, but it may be my PC. I wish it brought the mini and micro adapters as implied by the description. Nice little SD card adapter.
I have an old laptop that doesn't read SDHC, but a new digital camera that can use SDHC - this inexpensive little gadget did the trick perfectly and is small enough to fit into the camera case that I have. Well worth the few bucks that I spent on it for sure & SDHC is so cheap my Canon SD1100 camera will fit over 10,000 pictures or over an hour of movie clips - all can be copied direct onto my laptop very quickly & conveniently via USB.
It works on three different PCs with no problems but the cap came cracked - it is actually too small to fit on adapter properly. The construction isn't sturdy so you have to be gentle with it.
