The original cable from the company is around ~15$. This was dirt cheap and was shipped very fast and works well. I had lost my earlier cable and my Sansa was just lying around not being used.

So Sandisk was wrong. They evidently are just trying to get you to order parts thru them. Seems iPod has the market on accessories in stores. She was glad since the one lost was black, also. This Sandisk takes a different cord size than iPod's. They said you can only order this particular cord thru them.

Called numerous electronic places and they all pointed me to the web. Works perfect with her e250R.:-D My daughter lost her's and we checked the Sandisk site.

Very good product. She found this one, we ordered it, and voila. It is exactly what was needed.

So glad we found this one here. Cord was black, not white. This product was exactly what we needed.

If you need a new cable I suggest getting this one. Fits fine and each device works as it should. I have used this on 3 different Sansa's I got from a WootOff and it works great with no issues. I bought this due to the price and glad I did not spend more.

This works as original one and I am very happy that my return policy was expired :). I bought new Sansa e280 during thanksgiving sale, and after 3 months the original cable malfunctioned, I wanted to return it but because of 90 day return back policy I couldn't. Then I found this Data / Charger cable and ordered it for virtually no cost :p. And an extra point goes to Black color instead of White as shown on the website.

Syncs fine w/my Napster. The other rating says it didn't sync- mine synced fine with the same program (Napster) as my original cord. The reviewer didn't even comment on the performance. If you're in the market for packaging, buy a box. Maybe a Sansa employee scaring you into paying more. Bought for Sansa E-280, works perfectly. One of the low-star reviews ridicules the packaging. It's cheap (one-star reviewer was right- nothing like the picture, and obviously trying to look like a real Sansa product- it's called cheap marketing)., it works great for a great price, you be the judge.
