This product has good features and decent sound quality, but after having it for less than 2 months it's, well, dead.
La señal se pierde mientras estoy en la casa. A lo mejor es la distribución de los aposentos en mi apartamento porque a otras personas le ha resultado este modelo e incluso lo compré por recomendación de varios amigos. A mi particularmente no me ha funcionado bien. El diseño es muy elegante y moderno, asi como también la base para los mensajes. Pero su recepción no es la mejor que digamos dentro de los aparatos Dect 6.
The phone updates all phones when add any thing to one,( phone#'s etc ). Back ground noise is canceled ( TV Stereo ). They are very light and somewhat slippery, small kid's would have a hard time with them. I 3 different brands of phones and I honestly say these have the best features.
I will keep this review short, since I did not have a chance to use the phone much, after hours of frustration I could not make the caller ID work. The same setup with DSL filters .... works with my old panasonic phone but not with Vtech this phone, although it looks very good. I believe my phone had issues with calls coming in and caller ID, so unless I got a defective one I would not recommend it.
Writing this review 6 months into owning them. I love the looks of these phones. The featureset and sound quality are excellent. They work well with my Vonage VOIP line (some cordless phones cause echo on VOIP, these don't). They are slim and really quite beautiful. Battery life is really superior to many other phones I've used, which is surprising because the phone (and battery) are so svelt. Must be something to do with the DECT 6.0 spec? Range is very good, better than my previous 5.8ghz Uniden set.
Only negatives I have are that the glossy black surfaces tend to show scuffing and wear more than a matte finished plastic would. This seems to be the trend in electronics right now (glossy black) but in the cases of things than get handled a lot (think phones, TV remotes, etc.) I think it would be best to use a matte or lightly textured finish. The only other thing is that one of our (4) handsets is having issues with it's character display. It's possible this was due to dropping it (maybe one of my kids?) but I'm unsure. I'm going to be contacting V-Tech about this.
