By accident, more than 2 weeks ago, I dropped it from my desk on to my hard wood floor. I hope I am not going to jinx it. Wait.
:P Today, 2 weeks later, it's still running w/ no glitch whatsoever, that's why I wait until now to write this review. free fall.
It looks good, relatively quiet, and the best of all. A good 3 ft. I thought it would be the end of the world.
This HD is small and great for portability. I still have not filled it up and it is very fast as well.
Transfer rate a lil slow but worth it not. Greta lil Back up drive. to carry power cables. WD Rocks.
When trying to reformat this hard drive, It totally failed. Thankfully wd honored the warranty and promptly sent me a new one. I should note that this was after I tried to navigate their user-unfriendly website for an hour and then I got yelled at by both the Apple Genuis Bar who said I must have broken it and the wd "help" line by a man who hardly spoke english and did not want to help me at all. After using this product just fine with my dell for two weeks, I got a new Apple computer. That said the new one works just fine. for now.
I have an excellent experience with this hard drive. I feel free to count all my information in a very conservative way.
