It does the cleaning and scraping well. However, I consider that most grill brushes in the market will do swell job also.
We returned the item since the scraper was too small; cannot comment on the brush itself
I get at least 1/2 or more of a season out of one of these. Many more bristles than other brushes used. Simply put, don't bother looking at other brushes. Top quality. This brush is the same quality as the grill itself.
Highly recommended. Not much to say about this grill brush/scraper, other than it does a great job (no pun intended) of keeping the grates on my Weber Genesis gas grill clean. The brass bristles do a good job of getting burned-on food off and the notched scraper works great on the more stubborn stuff. Quality wooden handle, too. I like Weber's quality, and this brush/scraper is definitely another one of their quality products.
The handle is very well made and sturdy, made of oak, and it's a great length for reaching all the way to the back, and for leverage on tough grill build-up. It has plenty of brass bristles for good scrubbing without scratching. I don't really use the metal blade scraper, so I can't say yes or no on that. In another 7 years, I expect to be buying another. This is my second time buying the identical brush we had the last one for several years.
