Got this a few weeks ago, and it was simple to install. Not really much to say, it came on time also. Its brand new and so far its working.
I haven't had any problems yet. This was easy to install in my icy dock enclosure I bought to go with this and the usb connection is automatically detected, I used windows to format the hardrive instead of using their software and it works great.
It was easy to install and works great. It's fast and it's big and inexpensive.
The old one died after 3 months of use.it began having errors after the first month. This drive is a replacement for a Seagate. This WD drive has had ZERO problems so far. It seems to have a faster response time and it is much quieter than any of my old drives.
This product worked operfect right out of the box and has continued to work perfectly ever since.
