Wii Sports Reviews
First of all this is the best game I have played on Nintendo Wii. The main reason I am leaving a review is for those who are looking for a replacement or to just get the game.
As stated above by Amazon, you can order replacement disks directly from Nintendo Support by calling 1-800-255-3700. Advice: Get a BRAND NEW Wii Sports directly from Nintendo for $20.
I am glad that Amazon listed that information, because I received a brand new copy for less than I could get a used version. Another example of why you the best online retailer.
Thanks, Amazon. So you can get a brand new game for $20.
The cost of the game is $15 + $5 for shipping.
On the Wii the first time I bowled I got like a 68. I will admit that when I first tried this - my Wii age was 80. This game will get your heart rate up in a hurry. However, for those of you that perhaps bought your game system 2nd hand and it did not come with this game - Buy It.
I cannot bowl at a "real" bowling alley, in fact I played on a league once for their handicap, and I threw the ball backwards more than a few times, and I was best at gutter balls. Baseball is my least favorite of the games, but I still enjoy trying to hit the balls out of the park. The extra bonus is the "fitness" section. I think this game "usually" comes with your Wii console. This game is so worth buying if it did not come with your system. It is so far the best interactive fun game I have played on the Wii. I can now officially say that I bowled a "Perfect Game" - a big 300.
LOL What is fun about this little section is that you are not allowed to do it over and over again to try to get younger, you have to wait until the next day, so this keeps you coming back for more. I am not a tennis player, and I don't really want to play tennis (bad knees, ex-smoker lungs), but it's still a fun game. Boxing is something I have always enjoyed watching - I used to watch Ali fight when I was a kid. How sad is that. I have never tried "real" golf, but since playing it on the Wii, I actually have the desire to test a real green now. WOO HOO. I am getting younger, but I am not young enough for my satisfaction - I am now 42 in Wii age (sigh, but older in real age).
All of the games on here are fun.
Found a used Wii and bought it but did not have this basic game purchase here and have been enjoying since. I bought my Wii due this game. Played it a friends house and had to have it.
I did get it in time, and my grandson loved the gift. I purchased the WII Sports Pak. So I am very pleased with my purchase and would do it again in the future. I paid extra to receive this item quickly for my grandson's birthday.
We like the bowling and boxing the best. It is a great way to get familiar with the controllers. My family loves this game. Every time we have people over they grab this game and challenge one another to bowling, boxing, tennis or baseball.
