Xbox 360 Wireless Halo 3 Headset Reviews
It is a must have for any true Halo fan. Buy this now if it is still available, they discontinued the production of this product. It is also a special edition and matches my special edition Halo 3 Xbox. This is an amazing headset that works just as well as the regular one.
I bought an open box Halo 3 Wireless Headset but it didn't work so I sent it to Microsoft. Would gladly get it again.
I did have some trouble with it not recognizing my voice until I started yelling. In Halo 3, you almost have to shout to get it to make the voice icon recognize that you area talking. I have to say I'm pleased with it.
Other than that and some minor static, it's a great headset. I had a brand new one in my hands in 3 days.
It is difficult, as I have gigantic ears, but it fits well enough so that it doesn't hurt. It charges quick enough, and it fits on the ear pretty well.
But it still makes me very angry. It IS possible to make these things last for more than a few months. Cost me $60. Probably.
Consumers should not put up with short-lived electronics. I just hope I can find some warranty information. It worked PERFECTLY until today, May 1st.
Exactly three months of responsible use and the battery stops taking a charge. COINCIDENCE. I bought this on February 1st.
I loved this headset. It had great sound quality, it was comfortable, and it had a good battery life. It worked fine two nights ago, and tonight, nothing. It was just sitting on a table.
No power. There was no damage to it, it hasn't been dropped, or gotten wet, or anything. I tried my cellphone charger, nothing. No lights to indicate it was charging. No dice.
Nothing. I plugged it in to the USB charger that came with it. At least when they die, they're cheaper to replace. So here I am, with a completely dead, four month old, $60 headset. I think I'll go back to a wired one.
So I plugged it into my PC to see if it was a bad USB port. Up until it died, one month or so out of warranty.
THe battery lasts quite a while longer than I expected. Not bad. The earpiece can be a little painful if you don't put it on right, but other than that it's a good piece of hardware. Also, no longer available in most stores so the only way to find it is online.
