Xbox360 Fighting Stick EX 2 Reviews

It's still better than playing with the XBOX 360 controller but I'd get the Hori RAP Ex instead of this. The stick feels stiff and the clicking sound is rather noisy. For a 2D fighter like SF2, half-circle moves are difficult to pull off. For a 3D fighter this stick is fun and responsive.

Looking for a worthy arcade stick for the xbox is hard. I play a lot of soul cal 4 online.

Another major gripe is the lack of the top 2 buttons in the traditional arcade placement. This does not meet the requirements.

The controller is constructed strong and is okay, however you won't be able to use it for most games. The corners being in the diagonal positions. However it is what it is, a second rate fighting stick.

The stick has a square gate. The stick because of this it is inaccurate loud and clunky.

Not does this arcade stick create a lot of noise which people can hear through the xbox live mic its just not the best for quarter circle fireballs especially if you have to do the double quarter-circle forward for supers. You can really see it at about 2min into the video.

Although its expensive it will give me an excellent arcade still that won't negatively affect game play. You can do them most of the time but sometimes you do only a punch forward which is not good when you are fighting someone.

If you don't believe me watch the video on Youtube.com. I'm going to buy the Arcade in a box ([.].).

http://www.youtube.com/watch.v=sNyqRpPebJI&feature=related You can tell the guy knows how to play but the arcade stick does the same thing to him as it did me. I'm sending mine back.

The orginal xbox 360 controller (using the left stick) does a better job with throwing fireballs.

in my opinion, if youre not into fighting games much you might wanna save your money. i have heard people mention other games like dead or alive 4 and vitura fight 5.

even though it is not wireless and is noisy it is worth getting if you wanna pull off all those moves in fighting games. I reccomend this to everyone.

Well, this thing is compatible with Soul Calibur 4. Otherwise, pick this up.

with shipping it is near the same price if you were to buy it gamestop or eb games or whatever. I have to get used to it but the joystick responds very well.

i just bought this at the store.

However, I have encountered some guest players who were not accustomed to using an accurate control and needed a little time adjusting to it. When connecting to your XP (and probably Vista) PC, it is recognized and given a default driver that works great with practically any application. This (like other Hori fighting sticks) is an EXTREMELY accurate and responsive control which makes it wonderful for most players. Of course, the joystick functions as a D-Pad, not an analog stick. A feature that I always felt was overlooked in Hori fighting sticks is the heavy plate on the bottom of the control. The quality of the arcade stick is more of the same for Hori. One of the best things about this product is that it will increase your enjoyment of all your arcade style Xbox Live Arcade games as well as current fighting games. However, RB and LB are located at the top edge along with Start, Back, and the Dashboard button which effectively places LB and RB out of reach during heated play.

The control face features the B,X,Y and A,RT,LT in typical fighting game configuration, great for practically all fighting games. Overall, this is a great product that will provide you with more accurate control than the D-Pad and more fun playing arcade style games. There are custom drivers out there if you don't mind doing some tinkering.

Some software might require the use of a different driver. If you love arcade style games (especially fighting games), you will enjoy the feeling of using this control. This prevents you from lifting or moving the stick around on your desk or tabletop surface during play.

The stick itself is very responsive and well suited for fighting game moves that require finesse. The controller is NOT wireless and uses a USB cable to connect to the Xbox 360 console or PC. It can also be used with your PC.

The Xbox Live headset can be connected to the controller on the edge facing you. This is another high quality fighting stick from Hori that upholds the reputation of their fighting sticks for other platforms.
