Yamaha CDC-697BL 5-Disc Carousel-Type CD Changer Reviews
yamaha cdc697BL 5-disc changer meets all my expections, i.e. good quality product, excellent price & shipment by amazon.com. currently have no complaints.
I have used JVC products for quite a while until I found out there was something better. This unit is the best CD player I have tried. It was so good that when it was time to replace the JVC unit in the basement I bought another Yamaha. It all started when I was not getting good 5.1 surround quality from my JVC receiver. I saw the Yamaha 7.1 receiver on the internet and purchased one because of the rave reviews. It was the best choice I could have made. So now all of my gear is Yamaha. One thing they could have included on it, and that would be a headphone jack.
What can I say? This CD changer was a breeze to hook up to my NAD receiver. It sounds great and super easy to use. The remote is great & makes it that much easier to use.
For those who want an inexpensive, basic 5 disc changer this is the one for you. The CD's are easy to insert and remove in one step, without having to rotate the slots, and the remote works fine. I'd like one more control button on the changer itself, like "shuffle all discs" rather than having to use the remote, since one more remote is a pain to manage indeed. Thanks to Yamaha, for keeping this basic component available to keep the "rack" a viable sound alternative!
Very easy to use and has open close botton on the remote which is real usefull when drinking. I recently purchased a sony because I had one for 14 years but the new sony wouldn't play several older CD (not copies) and skipped several tracks and so I sent it back. This Yamaha audio CD player played all the CD(s)and tracks, the other CD player didn't. The functioning and use shows good old fashion Japanese design and quality (although made in Malaysia). This audio CD is worth the money and I recommend this CD player.
